Apex Hangar Sync — Browser Extension Privacy

Apex Hangar Sync is an optional browser extension for Apex Dynamics members. It reads your own Star Citizen hangar in your browser and lets you share the ship list you choose with your organization. This page explains exactly what it does and does not do with your data.

What the extension is for

A single purpose: let an Apex Dynamics member read their own Star Citizen (RSI) hangar locally in the browser and upload the ship list they consent to share, so the organization can coordinate and lend ships. It does nothing else.

Your RSI login never leaves your browser

The extension reads your hangar using your existing RSI session in your own browser. It never transmits, stores off-device, or shares your RSI username, password, session, or cookies with Apex Dynamics or anyone else. Your RSI credentials stay on your machine.

What is shared with Apex Dynamics

Only the fleet data you explicitly consent to share — the ship (hull) names and the source pledge name they came from. That is all. In particular we do not collect or transmit:

• RSI credentials, passwords, or session/cookies;
• ship or pledge prices / pledge value, or any payment information;
• your browsing history or activity on other sites;
• your location.

Browser permissions & why

• Identity — to complete the one-time sign-in/link handshake with your Apex Dynamics account. No other identity information is accessed.
• Storage — to keep your Apex Dynamics link token in your browser (locally) so the extension stays linked between sessions.
• Access to robertsspaceindustries.com — to read your own hangar page locally in the browser and build the ship list.
• Access to app.apex-dynamics.org — to link your account and upload the ship list you consented to share.

How the shared data is used

The fleet you choose to share is used only inside Apex Dynamics, for organization coordination and lending. We do not sell it, share it with third parties, or use it for advertising.

Your control — delete or revoke any time

You choose exactly which ships to share, and you can change your mind at any time from My Data & Consent on the Apex Dynamics site: delete your shared fleet, or revoke the extension's access entirely. Removal is immediate.

Tracking

The extension uses no third-party advertising or analytics and does not track you across websites.
